Squeegee with fresh rubber, T-bar with microfiber sleeve, bucket with cool water + 1 tsp dish soap, lint-free detailing cloth, blade for stubborn debris. That's it. No paper towels, no Windex, no vinegar.

The technique

1. Soak window with T-bar + soapy water, agitate.
2. Squeegee top to bottom in overlapping vertical strokes, wiping blade between passes.
3. Detail edges with microfiber (edges are 80% of streaks).
4. Never work in direct sunlight — solution dries before squeegee arrives.

Why humid days are actually better

Slower evaporation = more working time = fewer streaks. Sunny 30°C afternoons are the worst possible window-cleaning conditions.

Outside collects: dust, pollen, bird debris, hard-water minerals (from sprinklers). Inside collects: cooking oil film, dust, pet nose prints, kids' hands. Different soil = same technique, more agitation on outside.
