Safety requirements crews must meet

WHMIS training, forklift-adjacent PPE (hi-viz, steel toe), MSDS binder for every chemical on-site, lockout/tagout for machinery cleaning. Our warehouse crews carry these as standard.

Floor scrubbing math

A walk-behind auto-scrubber covers ~15,000 sq ft/hour. A ride-on covers 40,000+. For a 100,000 sq ft warehouse, a weekly scrub is 2.5–4 hours with the right equipment. Never scrub with a mop bucket — moisture between scrubs creates slip hazards.

Dust control

Product dust in warehouses recirculates through HVAC and settles on racking, causing both fire and inhalation hazards. Quarterly HEPA racking dusting is the cheap prevention that saves major insurance headaches.

Per-sq-ft warehouse pricing runs $0.04–$0.12 for standard cleaning, $0.08–$0.18 with dust control. Our warehouse cleaning contracts are quoted per shift after a site walk.
